Thank you for considering Xavier Catholic College for your child’s high school journey.
We know choosing the right secondary school for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. At Xavier Catholic College, we nurture the growth of our students through outstanding academic programs, inclusive spiritual formation opportunities, nurturing Pastoral Care for all students, and a wide variety of extracurricular and sporting opportunities.
Parents may submit an enrolment application for their child at any time. Please note your application is an expression of interest only. It does not guarantee your child a place at the College.
Our primary intake each year is for Year 7 of the following school year. Enrolment applications for Year 7 will be reviewed after the application cut-off date, which usually falls around Term 1 of the year prior to commencement. Please be aware applications submitted more than 1 year prior to the year of commencement will not be reviewed until the application cut-off date has passed. Submitting an application for a Year 7 intake years in advance will not give your child any additional advantage.
We also consider students for other year levels, provided positions are available. Enrolment applications for students in Years 8-12 may not be reviewed until a position is likely to become available.

We follow the St Francis Xavier Parish Enrolment Policy when offering places at Xavier Catholic College. Priority is given to applicants as follows:
Where possible, priority will be given to non-Catholic siblings of students already enrolled at Xavier Catholic College.
Submitting an enrolment application more than 1 year prior to your child commencing secondary school will not increase the likelihood of securing an offer.
Xavier Catholic College is a diverse Catholic community in the Jesuit tradition, and we welcome students of all faiths, regardless of background. We believe that diversity in our school community enriches both our school and the experiences of our students. However, all students and their families are required to respect our Catholic values and beliefs.

The College’s enrolment process aligns with the St Francis Xavier Parish Enrolment Policy, which applies to all Catholic schools within our Parish. Please note the Enrolment Policy is due for review in 2022.
